We’re seeking an experienced AE, ideally with prior success in Broadcasting or similar media environments, who is ready to hit the ground running and exceed expectations. You’ll be responsible for developing new business, managing client relationships, and delivering strategic advertising solutions across broadcast and digital platforms. Please apply at this link:
Job ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified broadcast and digital clients.
Prospect and close new business through strategic outreach and relationship-building.
Deliver compelling presentations that showcase the unique value of WNYT‑TV’s offerings.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
Analyze performance metrics and leverage data to drive client success.
Qualifications- Proven success in media sales, preferably within similar organizations.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and driven to exceed sales targets.
- Passionate about broadcast and digital media with a pulse on industry trends.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word for Windows; sales software knowledge helpful.
- Excellent written and oral English language communication skills.
- Ability to read, hear and speak clearly and follow both oral and written direction.
- Ability to think critically, analytically, creatively and logically; and to articulate information in clear, concise manner to others.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Physical Requirements:
Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to manipulate computer keys and general office equipment (telephone, copier, etc.). Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
