Summary: Support NYSID’s mission and operations by maintaining, creating, and providing accurate reports and dashboards. Ensure data accuracy and integrity while clearly communicating data interpretation. Collaborate with NYSID’s various teams. Position requires in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and Net Suite.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :- Design, develop, test, prepare, and deliver accurate reports and dashboards to support business needs and decision-making.
- Collaborate with various teams, including administration, marketing, sales, operations, compliance, contracts, and finance.
- Maintain routine reports and manage ad hoc report requests.
- Gather and interpret data from various sources and compile it into a comprehensible report.
- Present findings through clear and engaging presentations. Ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Utilize NYSID’s accounting software as a source of both sales reports and data for exportation.
- Act as liaison between outside technology consultants and NYSID, as needed, for database development.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Travel as required.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or related area of study.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
- Knowledge of and experience in working with state/local governments is helpful.
- Strong verbal and written communication (verbal and written) skills. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear manner.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving abilities to identify and rectify data inconsistencies or inaccuracies.
- Proficiency with Net Suite, Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), SharePoint, and Cubes.

The nature of the job requires significant computer use and long periods of sitting. Must have visual acuity and hearing ability for communicating with others and gathering and accessing written and computerized information. Ability to access any locations where the company's business is conducted.
