Responsibilities- Must be able to provide high-level admin support.
- Answers phone calls concerning policy or procedure and directing them to appropriate staff.
- Setting up and coordinating meetings for senior staff.
- Receive and process mail, fax documents and photocopying as needed.
- Maintain paper and electronic filing systems.
- Prepares letters, closes incident and complaint reports.
- Daily office operational functions as needed by senior management.
- Ad hoc assignments if priorities change.
- Orient other support staff if needed.
Pay Rate: $17.00-$21.00/Hour
Required Qualifications- Dependable, detail-oriented, and highly motivated individuals able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume office environment.
- Willing and able to multitask and move from assignment to assignment as deadlines and priorities change.
- Have knowledge of office administration and management; proper grammar, punctuation and spelling; business communications and ability to take notes is necessary.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience.
- A high school diploma (or equivalent).
- Two-year minimum experience working in a professional office setting.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Word, SharePoint and Excel).
- The ability to enter data into, and extract data from, electronic databases.
- The ability to work independently and on a team with different personalities.
- The ability to handle multiple, shifting priorities.
- Good organizational skills, including an ability to organize information into reports.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Certification in Microsoft Office products.
- Previous experience with the Statewide Financial System.
- Familiarity and knowledge of the Health Commerce System (HCS).
- Experience with various DOH platform software.
- Knowledge and experience with computer information systems and computer programming.
