Work HoursInitial Training: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Regular: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Provides administrative support to a client’s organization. Under limited supervision, the incumbent works in a self‑directed role to process color matches from operations to shipping using applicable software. Responsibilities include preparing mail packages (USPS, Fed Ex, International), maintaining complex records, and applying common sense to execute instructions. Strong communication skills with internal and external clients are required.
Responsibilities- Process internal and external color standards, color management orders and requests.
- Manage web‑based and email orders from entry through shipment.
- Handle order fulfillment: retrieval or replenishment of color standards, labeling, packaging, and completion of domestic and global shipping documentation.
- Perform visual review and quality inspection of standards before sending to customers or manufacturing sites.
- Assist in labeling, organizing, and shipping of new color matches.
- Order Fed Ex shipping supplies and enter purchase orders and shipping notices.
- Order CXP supplies (safety PPE, paper, toner, etc.).
- Coordinate employee and customer events (service lunches, catered events, etc.).
- Work effectively with customers, internal teams, couriers, and global manufacturing sites to resolve issues related to chip requests, shipments, the client’s website, and other business matters.
- Make frequent (at least once daily) trips into the color library freezer at 10 °F, wearing proper PPE.
- Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
- Work is located at a chemical plant with exposure to temperature extremes, up to 10 °F.
- Requires wearing personal protective equipment such as cold weather gear, hearing and eye protection, hard hat and steel‑toed boots.
- Daily office activities include sitting, standing, attending meetings, and repetitive use of keyboard and mouse.
- Lifting up to 55 lbs, potentially once daily.
- Requires moderate physical exertion, including walking to operating areas and up stairs; may involve walking across the project property.
- High School Diploma required.
- Must pass a color vision test (Farnsworth‑Munsell Color Test).
- Two or more years of applicable office experience.
- Proficiency in personal computers and Microsoft Office.
- Preferred knowledge of SAP.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new tasks quickly.
- Strong record‑keeping, organization, and planning skills.
- High initiative and self‑motivation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork with both internal and external stakeholders.
Salary Range: $65,000 – 75,000, dependent on experience.
