The Junior Plumber supports licensed plumbers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and gas systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role involves hands‑on assistance with pipeline and fixture work, adherence to safety protocols and plumbing codes, and participation in inspections and troubleshooting. A strong commitment to safety, willingness to learn, and solid problem‑solving skills are essential.

- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems, valves, fittings, drainage systems, gas lines, and fixtures across commercial, industrial, and residential projects
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and instructions provided by plumbers to complete work accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all gas line work adheres to applicable Federal, State, and local codes
- Assist with the preliminary and final inspections of all systems by participating in pressure tests, control adjustments and equipment operability
- Support routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems and report findings to the supervising plumber
- Help identify system inefficiencies and participate in troubleshooting to improve performance and safety
- Pre-plan and identify the methods to eliminate hazards daily by work task.
- Execute skill in observing habits and hazards of others and bringing it to their attention.

- Promote and encourage open communication between field and office regarding all safety concerns, suggestions, improvements, and PPE needed.
- Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
- Valid Driver's License
- Prior experience in the construction or servicing field preferred
- Rudimentary knowledge of reading blueprints and rough drawings.
- Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper
- Positive safety attitude and personal integrity -- both are non-negotiable
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Think independently, conceptually and apply practical solutions
- Capability to self-start tasks, display solid work ethic, and aspire to move ahead
- Ability to maintain a high degree of attention and care required to prevent injury to self and others
- Ability to accurately multi-task in a fast‑paced environment
- Travel to various construction sites is essential, exposing employee to outdoor elements, noise, and the need to stand and walk. Other requirements may include the ability to kneel, crawl, bend, climb ladders, reach and handle with fingers, and differentiate colors.
- Ability to maintain a consistent workload that may involve significant physical manual labor. Projects may be inside or outside, making exposure to the elements possible.
- Perform work at various heights, up to 90' from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, and cat walks and be able to work in restricted areas
- Lift at least 50 pounds

- Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers
