Service Technician I – Metro Power

Metro Power is looking for Electrical Service Technicians to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and associated equipment while adhering to the National Electric Code (NEC) and equipment specifications.

• Using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, cable testers, thermal scanners, and ammeters, Service Technicians are required to safely and effectively identify electrical problems and recommend repairs.
• The person in this role must be able to interpret blueprints and schematics, possess a solutions‑based mindset, and exhibit professionalism during interactions with business owners & operators.
• Additional duties include documenting interactions with clients, working with colleagues in a team environment, and any other tasks necessary to build and grow the department.

• Must possess 5‑7 years’ experience in the electrical field
• Must present a professional image and excel in trust building
• Must be a self‑starter and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to use hand tools of the trade
• Must be able to effectively wear basic PPE
• Valid driver’s license (minimal violations)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and push/pull 100 lbs. on a regular basis
• Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, bend, stoop, & work in all weather conditions
