** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or potential disruptions.

+ Document incidents and maintain detailed reports in accordance with Allied Universal policies and the requirements of the healthcare location.

+ Collaborate with facility staff and first responders as needed during emergency situations and/or incidents.

+ Assist visitors, patients, and employees with directions and information as part of customer service responsibilities.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

+ X-ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
