Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T0734) role rting hourly rate: $15.00 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete your daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve specific needs and resolve guest concerns.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for shopping at Target.
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Explain and demonstrate how to use Target App features including Wallet.
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; guide guests to enroll, activate, and use these features.
• Handle returns per policy; partner with leaders as needed to resolve guest issues.
• Maintain a clean, uncluttered work area and stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pickup, Drive-Up orders, and related duties with awareness of applicable laws (e.g., adult beverage laws).
• All other duties as needed by business.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office operations as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally with or without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a shift.
• Adapt to varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties such as Drive-Up and carryout.
