Hours:
48 hours per week - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 per week
- Charting System: MEDITECH (experience with MEDITECH preferred)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience; surgical or trauma ICU (STICU/SICU) experience preferred
- Current ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications; NIHSS certification required
- Experience caring for trauma, post-trauma, burns, orthopedics, cardiovascular, and neurosurgical patients highly desirable
- Familiarity with CRRT, dialysis, and Open Heart recovery is a plus
- Comfortable working with a diverse patient population, including medical ICU overflow
- Must comply with a strict 75-mile radius restriction
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill surgical and trauma patients in the STICU
- Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and response to treatment using MEDITECH
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (surgeons, intensivists, respiratory therapists, PT/OT, pharmacists) to develop individualized care plans
- Manage complex cases including trauma, burns, cardiovascular, and neurosurgical patients
- Operate and utilize advanced ICU equipment and modalities such as CRRT and dialysis when indicated
- Perform timely, accurate documentation and handoffs to ensure continuity of care
- Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families throughout recovery
