• Duration: 17 weeks
• Schedule: 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Openings: 4 travel nurse positions
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1800 - $1890
• EMR/Charting System: MEDITECH (electronic charting experience preferred)
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Cancellation Policy: Up to 12 hours every 2 weeks

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg or inpatient surgical acute care nursing experience required; travel nurse experience a plus
• License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for submission in the state of Georgia
• Certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS required
• Education: BSN preferred but not required
• Skills: Strong patient assessment, prioritization, post-op care, wound care, pain management, and interdisciplinary communication in a fast-paced acute care environment; MEDITECH charting experience preferred

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients on an inpatient surgical Med/Surg unit as a Travel RN
• Perform comprehensive assessments, develop and update individualized care plans, and evaluate patient responses to treatment
• Administer medications and therapies, monitor for adverse reactions, and promptly escalate changes in patient condition to providers
• Coordinate patient care with surgeons, hospitalists, therapy services, and ancillary departments to ensure continuity of care
• Support post-operative recovery including pain management, wound care, mobility encouragement, and discharge readiness planning
• Document accurately and timely in MEDITECH according to unit standards and hospital policy
• Provide patient and family education on procedures, recovery expectations, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain infection prevention practices and promote patient safety initiatives including falls prevention, skin integrity, and VTE prevention
