Strict 75 mile radius rule Looking for a CVICU RN that is comfortable with fresh open hearts. Experience with fresh open hearts should be within the past 12 months. Requires knowledge of balloon pumps and CRRT. Must be willing to work in the other ICU(SCIU, CCU, ICU) units when census in CVICU is low. Here is the info on the other ICU units: BLS, ACLS, ASLS OR NIHSS.

2 years of experience required in specialty, no first time travelers 1 to 2 depends on acuity; open heart 1 to 1 travelers do not need to have open heart experience and will only take if experience Meditech Run a charge nurse in each unit, try to keep them out of the staffing grid Use techs for ADLs, finger sticks, I/O Every other weekend Must be flexible
