Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM

• Every 3rd-4th weekend requirement

• Every other holiday requirement

• 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio

• Minimum 5+ years experience in Level 1 Trauma Facility with minimum 2 years acute care experience required

• No first-time travelers accepted

• Must have prior MEDITECH 6.15 experience

• Must have current valid driver's license

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ASLS or NIHSS, TNCC

• Must pass online Cardiac Rhythms test with minimum 80% score

• Must pass ESI Triage Exam during orientation

• Caribbean Blue scrubs required

• 75-mile radius rule applies

• Weekly COVID testing required if not vaccinated

• Care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics including trauma cases

• Handle approximately 140 patient visits per day

• Work with 25 monitored beds, 6 fast treatment beds, 6 fast treatment chairs, 2 trauma bays

• Perform own lab draws and IV starts

• 1-2 shift floor-specific orientation based on comfort level

• 12-hour cancellation policy every 2 weeks

The emergency department features modern equipment including Alaris pumps and serves as a CVA center, providing advanced care for a wide range of medical emergencies and trauma cases.
