Wound Care Nurse - LPN

WE'RE HIRING A FULL-TIME LPN WOUND CARE NURSE.

Our pay range (LPN Wound Care) begins at $27.75 an hour and increases based on your established experience. The final pay rate is determined at the facility level after experience verification. Wage shift differentials are offered for 2nd/3rd shifts. Also, get paid every Friday (weekly).

• Monitors any skin problems that the patients may have and treat as ordered by physician.
• Administers and records all treatment medications.
• Charts information regarding patient’s progress, ailments, medication, symptoms and observations.
• Performs monthly skin assessments on patients.
• Stocks and prepares treatment cart.
• Complies with current federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing care in the execution of assigned duties.
• Administers and records medications following physician orders and established center policy; takes and records patient vital signs and collects laboratory specimens as directed.
• Provides emotional support to patients and their families.

• Have a current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse from the Georgia State Nursing Board.

• Possess ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Be capable of maintaining effective working relationships with patients, family members, department heads, and fellow associates.
