Hours:
48 hours per week - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1780 - $1910
- Patient Ratio: 1:3 or 1:4
- Charting System: MEDITECH 6.1
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or compact state)
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or IMCU experience
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
- Proven experience with vasoactive drips (amiodarone, dobutamine, dopamine, cardizem, insulin, labetalol, cardene, nitro, tikosyn)
- Skilled in caring for patients on high-flow oxygen, DKA, STEMI/NSTEMI, dysrhythmias, and post-device placement
- Must live at least 75 miles from the facility (per strict radius rule)
- Deliver high-quality critical care nursing to patients with acute and complex medical conditions
- Monitor and manage patients on continuous BiPAP, ventilators (trach only), and high-flow oxygen
- Administer and titrate vasoactive medications and insulin drips
- Respond to cardiac events and manage post-STEMI/NSTEMI patients
- Perform fluid resuscitation and diuresis as needed
- Accurately document patient care using MEDITECH 6.1
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
