Senior Pastor

Central Baptist Church of Albany, GA is seeking a full time Senior Pastor to lead a growing, vibrant, friendly, and faithful group of believers who “Love God, Love People, and Live it Out”. The Senior Pastor serves as the spiritual leader of the church and is responsible for spiritual leadership, pastoral care, and administration of the church. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Senior Pastor’s overall responsibility is to lead the congregation to a closer walk and relationship with God.

This role requires a deep commitment to faith, effective preaching, strong leadership, and a passion for guiding the congregation in spiritual growth. The Sr. Pastor must believe in the inerrancy of God’s Word and adhere to the Baptist Faith and Message.
God continues to do great things at Central Baptist Church and this is a wonderful opportunity for the man God will call to guide this ministry even greater things for HIS Glory.

• Degree (preferably a Master of Divinity or higher) from a recognized seminary that correlates with the Southern Baptist Convention.
• Ideally, five or more years of experience in pastoral ministry in a role that involved preaching and supervision of staff.
• Currently an ordained minister.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
