Albany Corrugated Maintenance Technician – $27.87 – $34.56/hr

Georgia-Pacific LLC is hiring Maintenance Technicians at its Corrugated facility in Albany, GA.

• Shift options: 1st Shift 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 2nd Shift 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, 3rd Shift 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Sunday night)
• Salary: $27.87 – $34.56/hr (based on skill and experience)
• Shift differential: $1.00/hr 2nd Shift, $1.25/hr 3rd Shift

• Perform mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems; repair and maintain equipment.
• Install and repair mechanical drives, chains, sprockets, gears, belts, couplings.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Maintain safety and environmental guidelines.
• Support production, waste and quality goals through quality maintenance program.

• Two (2) years or more of rotary machinery industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, conveyors and electrical/mechanical equipment.
• Experience reading technical drawings and schematics.
• Physical ability to lift, climb, stoop, stand, push, pull.

• Experience in corrugated packaging industry.
• Experience programming PLCs.
• Experience with manual lathe and milling machine.
• Experience working with 240/480‑volt 3 Phase motors.
• Welding skills: MIG, TIG, Arc.
