Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 11:00 AM

• Must work every 3rd-4th weekend and every other holiday

• Maintain 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio

• Minimum 2 years of ER experience in acute care setting required

• Must have prior Meditech 6.15 experience

• Highly preferred: travel experience or 5+ years in Level 1 Trauma Facility

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ASLS or NIHSS; TNCC preferred

• Must complete online Cardiac Rhythms test (minimum 80% passing score) and ESI Triage Exam during orientation

• Dress code:
Caribbean Blue scrubs

• Nurses perform their own lab draws and IV starts

• Floor-specific orientation: 1-2 shifts depending on comfort level

• Care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics including trauma, CVA, orthopedic, and neurological cases

• Work with 25 monitored beds, 6 fast treatment beds, 6 fast treatment chairs, 2 trauma bays, and dedicated stroke room

• Handle approximately 140 patient visits per day

• 75-mile radius rule applies - driver's license address must be at least 75 miles from facility

• Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks
