Dialysis Experienced Patient Care Technician-PCT Float

Dialysis experience required. Join Dialysis Clinic, Inc., a nonprofit mission‑driven organization dedicated to individualized care for patients with chronic kidney disease. Schedule

Full‑time, three 12‑hour shifts starting at 5 am;
Sundays off; no overnight shifts; this is a float position.

Compensation

Pay range from $17.00 to $22.85 per hour, depending on healthcare experience; experience not required.

Responsibilities

What You Can Expect:

  • Actively participate in infection control, risk management and patient education activities
  • Guide new patients through a 120‑day education plan
  • Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment
  • Function under RN supervision
  • Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment
  • Insert and remove patient access needles
  • Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes and inform charge nurse of any concerns
  • Calculate patient’s weight loss to reach dry weight
  • Determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly
  • Maintain professional working relationship, observing patient privacy and rights
  • Maintain and track inventory
  • Perform laboratory work
Qualifications

Successful Candidates Bring:

  • At least 3 years of dialysis experience and an active CCHT certification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Desire to collaborate with care teams
  • Ability to problem‑solve
Education / Training
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Active CCHT certification
  • Previous dialysis / healthcare experience required
