Join our client's team as a proficient CT Technologist, where you'll play a pivotal role in conducting CT scans and procedures under physician supervision to aid in disease diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. Your responsibilities will include accurately interpreting physician directives, administering IV contrast media, and executing scans following established protocols. Your expertise in managing radiation exposure and adhering to ALARA principles will be instrumental in tailoring technical adjustments based on patient characteristics.
Providing direct patient care across all age groups, your exceptional customer service will ensure patients feel respected and receive clear explanations of procedures. Collaboration with colleagues will foster a positive work environment.
- 1-2 years of CT experience
- Adherence to hospital attendance and punctuality standards
- Alignment with organizational values, mission, and vision
- Compliance with departmental policies and procedures
- Commitment to ongoing education and self-improvement
- Competency in providing patient care across all ages and demographics
- Vocational/Technical Degree in Radiologic Technology
- Certified Computed Tomography (CT) (ARRT)
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Organizational proficiency
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong customer relations skills
- Proficiency in grammar, spelling, and comprehension
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic computer and clerical skills
- Well-lighted, air-conditioned environment with moderate noise levels
- Occasional exposure to hazardous substances, body fluids, or infectious organisms
- Adaptability to fluctuating workloads and high-stress situations
- Good manual dexterity and coordination
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push/pull, and lift/carry up to 20 lbs
- Occasional climbing and reaching above the shoulder
