Position detailsPosition Title: Apex Therapist/SSP 2
Work Unit: Aspire Youth and Young Adults
County: Dougherty
Immediate Supervisor: Youth Services Coordinator
Qualification: Master s Degree in Counseling or other related field
Full licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, ECT) or associate licensure actively pursuing full licensure (LAPC, LAMFT, LMSW, ECT)
Special Needs Of Population Serviced: Work requires the knowledge and skills necessary to provide direct services appropriate to youth ages 5-26 and their families.
Assigned Duties and Responsibilities- Initial and ongoing assessments, individual, group, and family therapy, quality collaborative documentation
- Maintain all required trainings and certifications
- Attend staffings of youth and stakeholders meetings; collaborate with other agencies for the benefit of the youth
- Attend state meetings as needed; prior insurance authorization completion
- Maintain 50% billable productivity

Improve consumer outcomes and satisfaction; collaborate with co-workers and other contacts to provide high-quality, consumer-focused services - Age Related and Special Needs of Population Serviced:
Youth ages 5-26 and their families
- Customer Service: provide helpful, courteous, accessible, responsive, and knowledgeable service to youth, families, and stakeholders
- Accountability: knowledge of policies and procedures; complete required professional development trainings
- Credentials: keep all credentials and certificates up to date
- KPI knowledge and adherence
- Productivity: maintain required productivity standards
- Teamwork: collaborate professionally with colleagues and community partners
- EMR proficiency and reporting (word, excel, and agency databases)
- Ability to complete assessments with youth and families; timely documentation; insurance authorizations
- Judgment and Decision Making: knowledge of eligibility for core services, Apex, and other programs; cross-referring for quality care; intervention protocols
- Attend community stakeholders and inner-agency meetings
- Assist with reporting submissions to DBHDD, DFCS, COE (monthly/quarterly reports; annual/final project evaluations)
- Assist individuals and families with whole health community linking to positively impact recovery (after school programs, tutoring, Easter Seals, sports, mentoring, nutritionist, PCP)
- Maintain liaison between agency and contracted agencies
- Establish/strengthen partnerships with local schools, tutoring centers, SPED services
- Attend all required agency and DBHDD trainings
