Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM

• Work every 3-4th weekend and every other holiday

• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4

• Must live at least 75 miles from the facility (driver's license address verification required)

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ASLS or NIHSS; TNCC preferred

• Must have 2 years of ER experience in acute care setting

• Must have Meditech 6.15 experience (minimum 5 years experience preferred)

• Highly preferred travel experience or 5+ years in Level 1 Trauma Facility

• Complete online Cardiac Rhythms test (minimum 80% passing score)

• Take ESI Triage Exam during orientation with remediation available if needed

• Provide care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics including trauma cases

• Work in emergency department with 25 monitored beds, 6 fast treatment beds, 6 fast treatment chairs, 2 trauma bays

• Handle approximately 140 patient visits per day

• Perform own lab draws and IV starts

• Work with dedicated triage nurse and charge nurse responsibilities

• Wear Caribbean Blue scrubs

• Floor-specific orientation of 1-2 shifts depending on comfort level

The emergency department maintains central monitoring technology, has security and patient sitters available, and provides care for a wide range of medical conditions from routine emergencies to complex trauma cases.
