Job SummaryThe individual filling this part-time position will serve as the clinical director of the ASU Educational Leadership Programs. The coordinator will supervise all clinical components of the Tier II Educational Leadership Programs. The Clinical Coordinator will coordinate Tier II activities with the appropriate stakeholders, including leadership coach(es), districts and candidate mentors, to assure all components of clinical practice are planned, coordinated, implemented, evaluated, and revised as needed to provide the highest quality clinical experiences for candidates and will perform other job-related duties as required.

Responsibilities- Recruiting potential candidates for the Tier II program to ensure growth of the program.
- Articulating the clinical practice framework and clarity program components for candidates, partner school districts, mentors, and state education agencies.
- Continually update the clinical practice handbook for candidates, district partners, and mentors.
- Facilitating/supervising all operations related to clinical practice including completion of contractual forms/permissions related to all aspects of clinical practice.
- Using quantitative and qualitative data to continuously assess program implementation and effectiveness.
- Collaborating with the Leadership Coach(es) in tracking candidate performance.
- Working with candidates, coaches, mentors, and district representatives to establish understandings regarding ethical implementation of all aspects of the clinical program.
- Ensuring program implementation complies with all university, school district, and state policies and regulations.
- Collaborating with Educational Leadership Program Coordinator.
At a minimum, the Clinical Coordinator will possess a minimum degree of EdS in Educational Leadership or an equivalent field or documented evidence of five or more years successful school or district leadership and/or three years of higher education experience in Educational Leadership or higher education administration. Experience in P-12 schools, preferably in the State of Georgia; familiarity with computers, the use of Web-based software packages like Microsoft Office, Live Text, and Desire to Learn (Learning Management System).
Preferred QualificationsEdD or PhD preferred in Educational Leadership or an equivalent field.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge- The Clinical Coordinator should have knowledge of the accreditations that exist within the unit.
- The Clinical Coordinator should have a strong working relationship with the local and regional school system.
- The candidate should have knowledge of Professional Standards Commission Rules for candidate preparation in field and clinical requirements.
- The Clinical Coordinator should have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- The Clinical Coordinator should have knowledge of Microsoft Office and Banner.
