Location

Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.

Job Summary

There are four positions available for the Aspiring Scholars in Undergraduate Pre-Medicine summer camp. Please see the descriptions under the job responsibilities.

Responsibilities Public Health Faculty

The Public Health Faculty will lead the Community Health Research Project, which introduces scholars to public health and health disparities through the analysis of local, state, and national data.

  • Must be available to work over the summer
Project Coordinator

Will coordinate academic content and student engagement, including workshops on personal and professional development. These sessions will address mental well-being, financial literacy, mentorship, and career readiness.

Faculty Instructor

will provide focused instruction in General and Organic Chemistry, aligned with ASUP's mission to strengthen foundational science knowledge and prepare scholars for the academic rigor of pre-medical coursework. His instruction will emphasize core chemical principles, problem-solving strategies, and their relevance to biological systems and medical applications.

Program Mentors

will serve as academic, professional, and personal development guides for undergraduate scholars enrolled in the Aspiring Scholars in Undergraduate Pre-Medicine Program. Mentors play a critical role in preparing students for competitive entry into medical, dental, pharmacy, and public health professional programs by providing structured guidance, accountability, and exposure to healthcare career pathways.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a faculty member able to teach biology, chemistry, or public health.
  • Must be available to teach for the duration of the program.
