About the Role

As a Physician within a Federally Qualified Health Center, you will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive medical care to patients across diverse populations in the South Georgia. Your primary objective will be to conduct thorough initial patient evaluations to accurately diagnose health conditions and develop effective treatment plans. You will apply clinical knowledge and evidence-based practices to manage acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring patient safety and promoting overall wellness.

Collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams will be essential to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes. Additionally, you will maintain detailed medical records and stay current with medical advancements to provide the highest standard of care.

PLUS a $100,000 sign on bonus paid in 2 installments over 4 years, and a billable hours option to control your income potential and schedule.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the United States.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in a relevant medical specialty.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical evaluation techniques and patient care protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Board certification in a medical specialty relevant to the practice setting.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation.
  • Advanced training or fellowship in subspecialty areas.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education and professional development.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary healthcare environments or community health settings.
Responsibilities
  • Perform initial patient evaluations including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary to achieve optimal health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, preventive care, and treatment options.
  • Stay informed about the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance clinical skills.
