Urology Opportunity in Southwest GeorgiaJoin a well-supported urology program in a high-demand service area with immediate access to procedural volume, robotic technology, and a collegial team. This hospital-employed position offers an ideal blend of surgical autonomy, manageable call, and lifestyle flexibility. Whether you're a recent graduate or a seasoned surgeon, this full-time urology role provides the infrastructure to grow your practice quickly.
Practice Overview- You’ll join 1 experienced Urologist and 1 PRN urologist, supported by 3 full-time nurse practitioners (1 takes first call)
- General urology is the primary need, but subspecialty interests are welcome
- Opportunity for 20+ OR cases per week with access to two da Vinci robots
- Dedicated clinic support, including scribes and medical assistants, to optimize flow
- Standard schedule: 2 clinic days / 3 OR days per week; option for 1 clinic / 4 OR
- Call is 7 days/month (Monday–Monday), shared with another group; post-call day is off
- Consideration for alternative models, such as 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
- Average 15+ clinic patients/day, depending on provider preference
- $700,000 base salary guarantee with lucrative productivity bonus $75,000 sign-on bonus plus up to $15,000 in relocation assistance
- 27 days of Time Off and $7,000 annual CME allowance
- Full benefits, including malpractice with tail, 401k, and access to on-site childcare and fitness center
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- Open to 2024–2025 residents/fellows and experienced urologists
- Must be comfortable with general urology; robotic skills welcomed
- J-1 and H-1B visa support available
- Albany metro area with ~150,000 residents and a cost of living ~21% below national average
- 10 minutes from a regional airport with direct flights to Atlanta
- Excellent K–12 schools and nearby universities
