Overview
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help ensure a smooth patient experience.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent experience
- X-ray certification preferred
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients
- Prepare the treatment room for patient examinations and procedures
- Assist the dentist during treatment procedures as needed
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Maintain dental equipment and ensure proper sterilization procedures are followed
- Educate patients on proper oral healthcare
- Schedule patient appointments and assist with billing and insurance claims
- Perform other tasks as assigned to support the dental office team
