The Parts Technician/Foreman will be in charge of operating the parts shop and managing the mechanics. They will ensure the mechanics are performing work in a timely and correct manner and offer guidance to the mechanics.
Job Responsibilities- Ensure the shop is kept organized and well stocked.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels of frequently needed parts.
- Order parts and verify incoming shipments.
- Keep updated records and put incoming shipments away promptly.
- Complete inventory checks.
- Manage mechanics and prepare reports or correspondence.
- Operate a computer and other office equipment.
- Pull parts as needed for use.
- Follow all standard operating procedures, including safety policies.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of mechanics and mechanical parts is required.
- Ability to operate a computer and computer software.
- Ability to stand for the majority of the shift.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage mechanic personnel.
- Strong work ethic.
