Dougherty Judicial Circuit - Part-time Clerical Worker

The Dougherty Circuit Public Defender Office is seeking to fill a temporary part time Clerical Worker (Administrative Assistant) position. Work duties include performing a wide range of office administration tasks such as communicating with clients, data entry, assisting people applying for services, preparing and filing legal documents, working with attorneys and clients in court, managing cases and all other duties as assigned.

The candidate will perform in person work each week in the Dougherty County Courthouse. Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task under minimal supervision are essential. Experience in a legal office and data entry is preferred.

Description of Duties:
Performs a variety of general secretarial, clerical, and administrative support functions/processes or a few specialized or essential clerical functions in support of a unit or office and related personnel. May enter data and/or process documents and records. The work includes operating standard office equipment. Work is performed under the close supervision of a clerical or administrative supervisor. Performs other related duties as assigned.
