About the Position
The Registered Nurse – ICU (Intensive Care Unit) provides specialized nursing care to critically ill patients requiring continuous monitoring and complex interventions. The RN ICU is responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, managing ventilators and other life-support equipment, and collaborating closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role also involves patient and family education, maintaining accurate documentation, and adhering to hospital protocols and evidence-based standards of care.

Requirements

Active  Registered Nurse (RN) license  in the state of practice

Minimum  4 years of ICU experience

BLS (Basic Life Support)  – required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)  – required

Critical Care Certification (CCRN)  – preferred

Strong knowledge of ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical care procedures

Ability to provide high-acuity care and work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication, critical-thinking, and teamwork skills
