Industrial Development Engineer F​/M​/X

Overview

INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER (ALBACETE) (F/M/X) at ITP Aero, Albacete Aeronautical Engine Maintenance Centre. The selected candidate will work in a highly skilled technical environment, contributing to projects focused on process improvement, automation, and industrial development, supporting operational excellence and efficiency.

• Define and ensure compliance with Industrial Capability Development standards.
• Execute the Group’s industrial plans, meeting deadlines and cost targets.
• Provide support in automation and industrial standardisation activities.
• Manage the industrial budget, ensuring compliance and cost optimisation.
• Prioritise activities across operational units, identifying improvement opportunities and synergies.
• Design, deploy and enhance the Lean Manufacturing model for production management.
• Promote both internal and external benchmarking initiatives.

• University degree in Industrial or Aeronautical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in similar roles within industrial or aeronautical maintenance environments.
• Solid knowledge of:
  • Lean Manufacturing, ergonomics, and occupational risk prevention.
  • Layout design, 5S projects, and workstation optimisation.
  • Process control and improvement methods (SPC, Six Sigma, MSA).
  • Value Stream Mapping (VSM), WIP management, and stock control.
  • Industrial automation and automated equipment.
  • KPI management and structured problem-solving (8D, SCRA, CEDAC…).
  • FMEA, poka-yokes, and failure prevention methodologies.
• High level of English, both written and spoken.
