Job Description
  • Performs tasks as applicable in the following trades:
    • Carpentry work and repairs in building construction and maintenance;
    • Heating installation, repair and maintenance;
    • Plumbing installation, repair and maintenance;
    • Refrigeration installation, repair and maintenance;
    • Electrical repair and maintenance;
    • Automobile repair and maintenance;
    • Diesel engine installation, repair and maintenance;
    • Water/Wastewater System operation and maintenance.
  • Performs duties with highest standards of safety for staff and students.
  • Identifies and requisitions parts from catalog references in specialty area(s).
  • Performs other general building maintenance tasks in a variety of crafts.
  • Is responsible for reporting general building maintenance and equipment malfunctions and repair needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Follows preventive maintenance checklist on daily and monthly basis as outlines by the program.
