Position: Concrete Finisher (seasonal or year round)

Alyeska Builders concrete crews specialize in the following

* Residential Foundations

* Sidewalks

* Patios (including decorative)

* Commercial Foundations

* Curb Work

* Commercial Mics.

The below list of duties are some of the routine expectations of this position.

* - Lay foam & vapor barrier in preparation for foundation pours
* - Install/Tie Rebar
* - Epoxy Floor Coverings (interior)
* - Concrete grinding/floor prep for remodel or repair projects
* - Clean surfaces in preparation for work activities.
* - Build construction forms or molds.
* - Position construction forms or molds.
* - Fabricate parts or components.
* - Position structural components.
* - Mix substances or compounds needed for work activities.
* - Pour materials into or on designated areas.
* - Spread concrete or other aggregate mixtures.
* - Compact materials to create level bases.
* - Prepare surfaces for finishing
* - Finish concrete surfaces.
* - Apply decorative masonry finishes.
* - Apply sealants or other protective coatings.
* - Inspect completed work to ensure proper installation.
* - Signal equipment operators to indicate proper equipment positioning.
* - Drill holes in construction materials.
* - Cut metal components for installation.
* - Strip Forms at project cleanup
* - Daily Job Reports
* - Must be able to lift 50lbs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum (2) years concrete experience.

* Valid driver's license.

* Willing & able to pass a drug test.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

* Company work trucks for job sites. We do not expect team members to drive their own vehicles to job sites, etc.

* OSHA 10 training provided for all new team members that do not already have the certification.

* DOT Health cards / physicals paid for by company for all new team members that do not already have a DOT health card.

SCHEDULE DETAILS

Our crew works year round - ability to work overtime is required.

Monday - Saturday is typical in summer season, of course with breaks over holidays, etc. (Have to make time for those camping trips! ;)
