DescriptionService Excellence. Performance. Integrity. Teamwork. Consistency. Innovation. The Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage ensures that exceptional customer service is provided. This includes interacting with guests, answering guest inquiries, and effectively handling complaints while maintaining professionalism and a friendly positive attitude that support HAP service excellence values. This position supervises and motivates team members in line with company standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist the F & B Manager with duties including liquor ordering, food inventory, and employee scheduling.
- Work with employees to ensure all venues are presentable and ready for service.
- Handle guest complaints according to provided guidelines.
- Assist the F & B Supervisors and Sous Chefs with their duties and responsibilities.
- Regular audits of cashier’s paperwork, deposits, tips, and closeouts of the Point-of-Sale system.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings with all FOH/BOH Supervisors.
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and sanitation guidelines.
- Contribute effectively to a positive guest experience while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.
- Experience in positions involving customer service or food and beverage service is required.
- Experience in leadership position(s) is preferred.
- Currently hold or the ability to obtain an Alaska Food Handler’s Card.
- Currently hold or the ability to obtain a valid alcohol safety card for the State of Alaska.
- Minimum age of 21 years required.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.

- Ability to organize and prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
- Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
- Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for minimum of 8 hours per day.
