• Plan and implement staff training for canoe and kayak programs
• Maintain and manage paddling gear and equipment, including purchasing and organizing
• Lead paddling programs, ensuring safe operations and supervising staff
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and evaluating outdoor program instructors
• Promote paddling programs and recruit participants from the community

• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs and stand/sit for long durations
• Previous experience facilitating outdoor paddlesports for youth and adults
• Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Reliable transportation to various program locations

• Prior supervisory experience in paddlesports or outdoor education
• Experience training staff in paddlesports or related outdoor activities
• Certification in paddlesports with the American Canoe Association
• Experience with hauling equipment, including trailering canoes/kayaks
• Secondary language skills in Spanish and/or Hmong are a plus
