Escape to the Lake with Madison Boats. With four locations on three lakes and over 400 boats, we have something for everyone to enjoy. Select one of our locations to learn more about our 10 favorite paddle destinations on Lake Wingra, Lake Mendota and Lake Monona. Here at Madison Boats, we are able to connect with each other and nature through outdoor recreation and education.

10-25 hours per week with shifts typically around 6 hours long.

Summer is short! We understand you have to make the most of it. We do too! More than a week off can be challenging to ensure you are fully trained and remaining consistent through out our short season. That doesn't mean you should not take time off, we just ask that you are mindful of your time off as we generally schedule around you.

We ask for evening and most weekend availability from May through the end of September.

Hourly $10.00 to $12.00

Do you want to spend your summer outside? Do you enjoy water and boating? Want to be a part of a great team of staff? Then look no further! We are currently taking applications to build an awesome crew at Wingra, Brittingham, and Marshall Boats for summer 2026. We serve guests and members renting boats, purchasing concession food, or inquiring about the Boat Houses.

Duties include assisting guests with boat usage, maintaining boats and premises, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere at Wingra, Brittingham, or Marshall Boats.
