On a substitute basis, provide students with a safe, clean and efficient place in which to learn, play and develop.

Job Description

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.
Good physical condition.
Valid Alaska Driver’s License preferred.
Ability to live and work in a cross-cultural, rural Alaskan environment.
Ability to carry out the duties described below.

Duties:

Scrub, clean, and disinfect restrooms and locker rooms and clean all sanitary fixtures and drinking fountains daily.

Sweep or vacuum classrooms, dust furniture, and clean all chalk boards daily.

Clean halls after school, and during the day if required.

Keep buildings and premises, including sidewalks, driveways, play areas, and grounds neat and clean at all times.

Shovel, plow, and/or sand walkways and steps as needed.

Remain on the school premises during school hours and during non‑school hours when the use of the building has been authorized and attendance is required by the Site Administrator.

Report any damage to school property immediately to the Site Administrator.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Type: Part‑Time

Salary: $15 Per Hour
