Test Engineer

• Execute data validation queries to ensure data integrity between source and target systems
• Perform row-count checks, aggregate validations, and schema consistency assessments
• Log discrepancies and collaborate with developers for root‑cause analysis
• Conduct functional and regression testing to verify business rule application post‑migration
• Monitor pipeline runs for failures and anomalies, and maintain test case repositories

• 2-4 years of experience in Software Testing/QA, with at least 2+ years in Data Warehouse/ETL testing
• Strong SQL skills for complex query writing and validation
• Hands‑on experience with data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure Dev Ops)
• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to validation

• Practical experience in data migration or data platform modernization projects
• Exposure to Informatica and understanding of mappings/workflows
• Willingness to learn dbt‑based validations
• Experience with Excel or similar tools for managing validation results
• Ability to analyze data discrepancies and collaborate effectively with developers
