Join Aramark as a Front Desk Agent at Glacier Bay Lodge in Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve. As the first point of contact for guests, you will create welcoming and memorable experiences, provide excellent customer service, manage reservations, and address guest inquiries professionally and efficiently.
About Glacier Bay Lodge & Glacier Bay National Park & PreserveGlacier Bay Lodge is a small 50‑room hotel nestled between coastal mountains, incredible fjords, and Alaska’s Inside Passage. With 18 hours of daylight during the summer, recreation and sightseeing opportunities are never‑ending! The lodge is a remote wilderness experience accessible only by air or sea from Juneau to Gustavus, your gateway to the park. Join a small family of around 60 employees for a summer of a lifetime.
This seasonal role runs from May 14 to September 10, 2026. We offer competitive wages, paid sick leave, on‑site housing and meal plan ($16/day all inclusive), and local discounts.
Job Responsibilities- Guest Services – Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a seamless check‑in and check‑out experience.
- Answer guest inquiries about room availability, hotel amenities, and park attractions with enthusiasm and accuracy.
- Handle guest concerns, complaints, and special requests with professionalism to ensure satisfaction.
- Reservation Management – Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications via the property management system.
- Communicate clearly with guests regarding booking details, policies, and pricing.
- Optimize room inventory to maximize occupancy and revenue while meeting guest needs.
- Administrative Duties – Accurately process payments, handle cash, and manage daily financial reports.
- Maintain organized records of guest information, reservations, and front‑desk activities.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure smooth operations.
- Promote Local Knowledge – Share information about park attractions, trails, dining options, and activities to enhance guests’ visits.
- Stay updated on local events, seasonal highlights, and park regulations to assist guests effectively.
- Hotel Standards and Policies – Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front‑desk area at all times.
- Previous guest services experience required.
- Previous cash handling experience preferred.
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
- Shows strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Displays organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
