Radiologic Technologist / CT Tech
Pay Range: $25.00 - $33.71. The LSRT performs a wide variety of routine duties including clerical, technical, and patient‑related functions. The LSRT is responsible for assisting members of the patient care team and providing a broad range of health care services such as patient check‑in, scheduling appointments, preparation for the visit, patient education, assistance with exams and procedures, and patient transporting.
The LSRT is trained to use a wide variety of imaging equipment, computers, and software.
The LSRT may be assigned to work in a variety of imaging sections, scheduling patients, patient check‑in, assist multiple imaging modalities and/or administrative functions as operationally needed.

Key Essential Functions And Accountabilities Of The Job AGES SPECIFIC TO DEPARTMENT- Newborn - Birth through 1 month
- Infant - 1 month through 5 years
- School age - 6 years through 12 years
- Adolescent/Teenager - 13 years through 17 years
- Young adult - 18 years through 34 years
- Middle adult - 35 years through 50 years
- Mature adult - 51 years through 69 years
- Geriatric adult - 70 years and above
- Employees will work with patients/employees of all cultural and religious backgrounds
- Employees perform within the prescribed limits of SEARHC Ethics and Compliance Program and are responsible for detecting, observing, and reporting compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, or upward through the chain of command, the Compliance Officer or hospital hotline

- Performs administrative duties including patient scheduling, patient prep education, and maintains high quality services
- Exhibits caring attitude when relating to patients
- Assists with diagnostic exams (chaperone)
- Engages in professional and ethical conduct
- Manages digital images, transferring information to and from electronic media and print documents using software such as Picture Archiving Communications (PACS)
- Notifies appropriate staff regarding add‑on exams and STAT cases
- Communicates effectively with patients/families and all care providers
- Interacts with staff and co‑workers in a manner that promotes positive working relationships
- Checks the order for complete information and appropriateness criteria
- Obtains sufficient information to determine whether the procedure should be performed immediately or within a specific time frame
- Adheres to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Assists with coordinating work assignments to ensure a smooth workflow
- Sets up the imaging room to coincide with the examination being performed, including the use of proper isolation precautions when needed
- Verifies two patient identifiers
- Provides quality customer service, explains all studies to patients in a clear manner, and provides information and resources to patients and families
- Safely transfers patients to and from carts, beds, and wheelchairs utilizing multiple lifting devices
- Positions the patient, ensuring comfort and modesty
- Maintains a clean, orderly, well‑stocked room
- Performs X‑ray exams under the limited scope radiology technician (LSRT) approved exams
- Performs DEXA exams when certified
- Performs ABI (ankle‑brachial index) exams
- Other duties as assigned
- Maintains licensure, certifications, and ongoing CEUs for professional development on a timely basis
- Attends department/organizational meetings, in‑services, and disaster drills
