Job Goal:
To provide, on a substitute basis, instructional leadership for students in such a way as to enhance their learning opportunities.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with students in a school setting.
• Ability to live and work in a cross-cultural, rural Alaskan environment.
• Ability to carry out successfully the duties described below.

• Carries out classroom and other activities pursuant to the written plans of the teacher and/or the instructions of the Site Administrator.
• Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designed.
• Encourages students to set and maintain high standards of classroom behavior.
• Establishes and maintains cooperative relations with others.
• Is responsible for monitoring the behavior of all students within his sight and hearing during the work day.
• Services lunch rooms, playground, bus loading areas, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Type: Substitute

Salary: $21.91 to $21.91 Per Hour

• High School/Trade School degree preferred.
