To implement all plans provided by the teacher.

• High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor's Degree in Education preferred for long term assignments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency is preferred.
• Ability to keep student information confidential is required.
• Strong interpersonal relations and communications skills.
• Strong behavior management and positive discipline skills.

• Responsible for the daily management and operations of the assigned classroom in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
• Reviews and implements all plans, duties, and schedules to be followed during the teaching day.
• Teaches the outlined lesson(s) as provided by the classroom teacher.
• Maintains the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom to the extent possible.
• Follows all policies, rules, and procedures to which classroom teachers are subject.
• Communicates with the classroom teacher.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
