Shift Supervisor

A Shift Leader helps the shift run smoothly by taking care of their restaurant teams and guests and delivering operational excellence.

Essential Functions
  • Develop Servant Leaders - Prioritize your people and restaurant above yourself.
  • Create Memorable Experiences - Create a service experience so good that the guest can't wait to return to Popeyes.
  • Administration - Balance providing a high-quality employee and guest experience with achieving financial goals.
  • Responsibilities
    • Coach, train, and develop team members around processes and procedures at each station.
    • Actively participate in team huddles, offering great ideas.
    • Consistently thank the team and celebrate success.
    • Serve as a role model and coach Brand service behaviors.
    • Address bottlenecks, monitor Speed of Service, and manage chicken drops.
    • Ensure the restaurant is welcoming and clean.
    • Spend time with guests in the dining room, doing table touches throughout the shift.
    • Support the team in resolving guest concerns quickly.
    • Ensure product quality and all standards are met during their shift.
    • Provide ideas to the General Manager to improve guest metrics and feedback.
    • Lead each shift by delegating duties, assigning tasks, and following up with team members.
    • Be proficient in each area of the restaurant to assist when necessary.
    • Use shift tools and routines to meet Quality, Service, and Cleanliness Standards (QSC).
    • Ensure accuracy of inventory and waste tracking.
    • Review and approve invoices and inter-store transfers (ISTs).
    • Check people charts and production planning, making necessary adjustments.
    • Follow through with action plans for Employee Engagement, Voice of the Guest, and Operational Assessments during the shift.
    Required

    Education and Experience
    • Minimum Age: 18 years old
    • Previous restaurant leadership experience preferred
