Registered Nurse

We are hiring for one of our clients seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) who demonstrates proficiency and independence in delivering patient-centered care. The RN applies the nursing process — assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation — to ensure safe, effective outcomes for patients and their families.

This role collaborates with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary team members to address patient care needs while maintaining clinical competency and adhering to established policies and professional standards.

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
• Safely administer medications in accordance with established standards
• Assess, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Document patient care accurately and timely
• Maintain clinical competency within assigned specialty
• Serve as a patient advocate while respecting confidentiality
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and care teams
• Respect cultural, religious, and individual patient values
• Support patients and families during complex or end-of-life decisions
• Utilize chain of command appropriately to resolve concerns

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Demonstrate professional behavior and accountability
• Support departmental and organizational standards
• Participate in required training, orientation, and annual competency validation

• Follow established policies and procedures
• Utilize hospital systems and basic computer applications
• Maintain reliable attendance for scheduled per diem shifts

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• One (1) year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred

• Current RN license in state of employment required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required (if applicable to unit)
• Verbal Crisis Intervention (CPI) certification required
• Direct patient care in a clinical setting
• Variable patient acuity levels
• Requires standing, walking, and hands-on care
