Position Highlights

Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Medicine
Work Type: PRN / Per Diem
Location:
Alamogordo, NM
Schedule:
Schedule:
* Per diem, as needed
* Shifts scheduled 2+ months in advance
Facility Overview:
* 20 ED beds
* 10-12 recliners for fast-track and vertical patients
Patient Population:
* Full age spectrum
* Acuity typical of a community emergency department
Responsibilities
* Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department
* Provide high-quality, efficient care across varying acuity levels
* Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary teams
* Support CHRISTUS Health's mission of compassionate, patient-centered care
Experience & Preferred Background
* Emergency Medicine experience preferred
* Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
* Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Requirements
* Eligible for or currently licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of New Mexico
