* Job Description:
** - Embrace the opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced LDRPN environment! - Work the exciting night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, providing crucial care to expecting mothers and their newborns.
- Utilize your nursing skills to deliver exceptional care in routine and complex situations.
- Lead yourself and others by meeting expectations of OneCHRISTUS Competencies.
- Follow the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice while implementing the nursing process:
- Assessment - Diagnosis - Planning - Intervention - Evaluation - Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families with compassion and expertise.
- Administer medications and treatments under established protocols; monitor for side-effects and effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Assess learning needs and educate patients, family members, and caregivers proactively.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team, making appropriate assignments and delegations to enhance patient care.

Skills:
** - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- *
* Experience:
** - 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty (preferred).
- ** Licenses, Registrations, or
Certifications:
** - Current BLS certification (AHA only).
- Current NRP certification.
- Current ACLS certification (AHA only).
- Current AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) certification.
- Current STABLE certification (Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization Care of Sick Infants).
- RN License in state of NM or compact.
- ** Position Requirements:** - Attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
- Be precepted by a designated trained staff member.
- Complete all annual competency verification requirements.
- Previous experience in a Perinatal setting or completion of a Perinatal RN Residency (preferred).
