* Key Responsibilities:
** - Conduct comprehensive evaluations to design tailored treatment plans that meet patients' unique needs.
- Administer a variety of physical therapy modalities, following physician prescriptions, to restore function and prevent further disability.
- Collaborate with patients and their families to set achievable goals and time frames for recovery.
- Implement plans of care (POC) that achieve expected clinical outcomes, adjusting as needed based on patient progress.
- Communicate proactively with colleagues and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
- Engage in continuous learning and maintain core competencies in physical therapy practices.
- Participate in departmental activities and initiatives to promote performance improvement and quality care.
- Complete accurate documentation and billing for services on the same day treatment is provided.
** Requirements:**
- Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certificate, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Experience:
- 1+ years of experience in physical therapy.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to communicate effectively in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Licenses, Registrations, or
Certifications:
- Current or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist by the New Mexico Board of Physical Therapy.
- Must hold a current American Heart – Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
