Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work varying shifts from 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

• Full-time position requiring flexibility to work different shifts and campus locations as needed

• Perform routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures

• Provide support for other imaging technologists and facilitate efficient patient flow

• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance and participate in quality assurance programs

• Resolve issues related to image processing and archiving systems

• Maintain radiation safety protocols while handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals

• Complete daily logs and periodic tests as required by licensing

• Ensure completed exams are properly scanned and stored in PACS system

• Function as PACS Superuser and follow downtime procedures

• Participate in ongoing education and technical advances within scope of licensure

• Graduate of accredited radiology technology school or approved equivalent required

• 1 year of clinical nuclear medicine experience preferred

• Nuclear Medicine Technology certification by ARRT or NMTCB required

• New Mexico state licensure (NMT by MIRTP NMED) required

• BLS certification (AHA only) required

• Basic computer experience required
