Job Snapshot: To minimize absence due to illness and to create a climate of health and well‑being for every student in the District.

• Licensure by the New Mexico State Board of Nursing
• Current School Nurse License issued by State Public Education Department

• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents
• Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements

Salary: Nine months (185 days) per contract year and appropriate placement on the Nurse Salary Schedule. The work calendar is subject to change based on any Board approved revisions that may or may not be permanent.

Conditions of Employment: Ability to comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 and, upon an offer of employment, complete an Employee’s Statement of Health and submit to a functional capacity evaluation at the District’s expense to determine ability to perform job‑related functions and fitness for duty. Any offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of all background, criminal, and reference investigations.
