Elders Inn is looking for an Activities Attendant
The Activities Attendant leads (and encourages participation in) activities for frail elderly that promote the seven dimensions of wellness (physical, spiritual, emotional, vocational, physical, intellectual, and social).
The Activities Attendant acts as a key contact for residents and their families, making sure everyone is introduced to the buildings amenities, acting as a point of reference for those who need assistance or information, and assists with meal services.
The current opening is part-time
, working 3 days a week (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday).
Hours are 8:30am-5:00pm
Pay is $21.50per hour
Job Responsibilities- Leading resident activities
- Assisting with special events
- Creating and maintaining proper signage for activities and events
- Visiting with residents and encouraging participation in a variety of activities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience leading group activities or teaching
- Ability to follow written and oral directions
- Candidate must be at least 18 years old due to licensing regulations
- Licensed driver at least 26 years old preferred
- Basic computer skills for attendance taking and resident participation tracking
Employment requirements include:
- Routine COVID tests

- TB test
- Fingerprint clearance from the FBI and Dept of Justice
- Current COVID-19 vaccination preferred
