Cnc set up​/programmer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Setup/Programmer to join our dynamic team in Alameda, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and light programming CNC machines to produce high-quality components. We work with diecast aluminum exclusively. • Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications and blueprints.
• Edit CNC programs to ensure optimal machining performance.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to maintain high standards.
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
• Document production processes and maintain accurate records.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.

• Proven experience as a CNC Setup/Programmer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of CNC machinery and programming languages (e.g., G-code).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
